Dee Jarlett

Vocal Improv - Dee Jarlett has been a Unicorn Voice Camp teacher since the inception of the camp. She co-founded Gasworks Choir, Naked Voices, Sweet Soul Sisters, Gasworks Scratchy Folk Orchestra, Strings and Things, Classical Gas and Sing Your Socks Off.

Dee’s song arrangements are used by choirs all over the country. A guitarist in various touring folk ensembles, she now plays with Judith Rieser in acoustic band Swithin. She took up the violin 3 years ago and plays with Spelmansslag, Fun Fantasy Orchestra, Strings and Things and as many other groups as she can!

At this year’s camp Dee and Jo Harvey, usually seen playing violins and teaching singing, are combining forces to run a session in Circle Singing / Vocal Improvisation. Find the freedom to express yourself within specific boundaries. A meditative session of harmony and toning. No previous experience necessary.
