Holly is a singing leader specialising in community music and harmony songs from the country of Georgia, where she spent many years living and learning about folk music.
She leads open-access workshops around the UK and internationally, and choirs in Oxford and Bristol.
Holly trained as a Natural Voice leader with Frankie Armstrong, in Circle Singing and Collaborative Vocal Improvisation with Guillermo Rozenthuler, and Somatic Voicework with Frank Kane.
Her years of theatre training mean she facilitates an inclusive and playful space, whether that’s in a community garden, a yurt or village hall!
Her practice involves embodied voice work, using the whole body as an instrument, and how that resonance can create a fuller ensemble sound.
She is co-creator of Voices of the Ancestors, the only podcast about Georgian Folk songs and the women who sing them.
