Raaja is known for teaching upbeat and interactive songs. He is an experienced choir leader since over 40 years. Living in Northern Germany he has been successfully organizing the Unicorn Voice Camp there since 1999. At the English Camp Raaja taught in the early years, hot-stuff Gospel or his Michael Jackson arrangements and Michael Stillwater songs.

During the camp Raaja will co-lead a drop-in with his daughter Dora Fischer and maybe some other singing.

Near his home Raaja leads the Home Planet Choir as well as other regular choirs in Hamburg and Berlin. He writes music for piano, choirs and solo voice. From 1978 to 1988 he worked as musical director of the US-based Living Theatre, an internationally acclaimed political theatre collective.

Raaja is also a certified teacher of the Dances of Universal Peace, they respect all spiritual traditions and work with body prayer. Above all he loves to create an experience of community through singing and dancing together.
