Fayenen Lathrenwen
Unicorn Community Care - Fayenen is a trauma-informed therapist, family-systemic practitioner, and group facilitator. For over two decades, she has supported individuals, families, and communities in cultivating embodied awareness and relational repair.
Her work is rooted in systemic and somatic wisdom, drawing from Family Constellations, Pre- and Perinatal Therapy, Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, and Interpersonal Neurobiology. This is grounded in a foundation of Transformative Communication (including Nonviolent Communication) and Ayurveda.
Fayenen facilitates spaces that prioritise safety, consent, and care, supporting people to meet discomfort, misunderstanding, or rupture with presence and compassion. Through body-based listening and systemic awareness, she approaches repair not as “fixing,” but as a shared, humane practice that restores trust, dignity, and belonging within community.
Her work is spiritually grounded and informed by devotional practice, with a deep respect for the body as a doorway to presence. Alongside her therapeutic work, Fayenen loves facilitating women’s circles, holding bhajans, teaching kids yoga and practising bhakti and kundalini yoga.
Dancing Spirit Camp has been a source of nourishment for her and her family for many years, and she deeply values the camp as a living village – a place where children are held in safety and freedom, elders are cared for, and community responsibility is shared. She is delighted to be joining the teaching team this year to support the camp’s focus on ethics and safeguarding. When not in the circle, dancing, or walking hand-in-hand with her beloved, she can usually be found reading a book in her hammock.
