Yelena Swarana
Dances of Universal Peace - Yelena has been dancing since 2006, when she first discovered the Dances of Universal Peace. A few years later she began leading the dances herself, and since then, this practice has become a central in her life. Since 2009, Yelena has been organizing Latvian Dancing Heart Camp and numerous events with the local and international leaders.
She also helped to expand the small Gokarna Camp in 2022 and 2023 in India into an international gathering, which continues to flourish to this day. Over the years, Yelena has witnessed how the dances transform lives — including her own — opening the heart and deepening connections beyond the differences. Yelena has shared and led dances in India, the United Kingdom, Turkey, Israel, Sri Lanka, the Baltics, Russia, Finland, and Poland, where she also initiated a small annual Polish camp. She finds her home at the feet of Arunachala, where she has been staying for months for almost a decade. Her heart’s joy is to come together in music, movement, and prayer — to remember and surrender to the beauty of Love.
