I’m an experienced choir-leader running choirs in the South West of England. Sometimes working on a small detail the essence of the song surprises us with its presence. Sometimes it’s ‘never mind the details, just sing it’ and the song appears. No-one knows how it works, but a circle of people and mutual positive regard is a good starting place.
